faith, hope fm and charity!
Brian and the band were delighted to learn that popular Internet country radio station Hope FM who run a weekly country show, recently ran a reader’s poll where listeners
were asked to vote for their favourite song, resulting in JESUS AND CMT coming out on top followed closely by 41 GOING ON 17. Brian gave a live interview thanking all those who took the time to cast their votes. As long as there are stations like this one prepared to promote BritCountry, then hope remains. Big thanks and respect are due to presenter
and huge ‘Shark fan Paul West for his continued faith in us. God bless.
This Sunday 22 June, sees Brian and Ian attend Dumbarton Football Stadium where they will assist in handing over the money raised at their recent charity performance to the Children’s Hospice Association (Scotland) C.H.A.S. Our friends Garry and Stuart from
local youth football club FC Barcalomond will once again be orchestrating proceedings.
‘sharks on the water
The band have been invited to play the prestigious Glasgow River Festival where they will share the stage with BeeCake, fronted by Billy Boyd (Pippin in Lord of the Rings). This is
a fantastic free event for the people of Glasgow and beyond. The live music commences from 11 am and continues until 6 pm on Sunday 20 July, and promises to be really exciting so see you there.
