here we go again…
Brian, Greg, Ian and Rob wish each and every one of you a happy and peaceful 2010 and thank you for all your support over the last twelve months. It was quite a year as we made a lot of new friends and fans both within and outwith the British country scene. We aim to convert even more listeners out there with the release of the new album and playing new venues in the coming year.
It was a relatively quiet time in Sharkville over the festive period with illness taking its toll on the celebrations. However we are all now back to full strength and are ready to ‘do it all again!’ So, all you ‘Shark fans out there, tell a friend or friends about us and help us spread the ‘BritCountry’ gospel to the people.
Thank you to those who took the time to write into the local paper about our Homecoming Scotland performances, it was very kind and much appreciated.
opry time again!
The band play their first show of the year at the Grand Ole Opry Glasgow on Saturday 23 January. We always enjoy this venue and expect a huge crowd as always. If you can make it along, it would be great to see you there.
distant lands
Our very good friend whos name we decided not to mention on here, is at present serving with HM Forces in Afghanistan. He is a huge fan of the band as are his entire family. No doubt his fellow servicemen are being inundated with ‘Shark tunes which we hope they enjoy. We wish him, and all the other heroes a safe tour of duty and journey home.
radio star?
Brian has been invited to present a modern country music show on his local radio station Your Radio FM. Station boss Dave Ross, who compered the Homecoming Scotland shows, was so impressed with the band and in particular Brian’s songs, he offered him
the invitation there and then. Watch this space for further details and, as the programme will be available via the internet, the chance to hear the show.
